Tokyo Disney Sea was started in 2001 alongside the much older Tokyo Disney Land and is together is called the TOKYO DISNEY RESORT. The characters are the same like Mickey mouse, Minnie mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Ariel, Aladdin, Sindbad etc but the themes is mostly to do with the sea like harbors , ports etc.
There are different areas inside the park namely.
Disney Sea Plaza
One can take pictures with characters like mickey mouse etc.
Mediterranean Harbor
Hotel Mira Costa and a number of restaurants are found here. You can take a ride with the singing gondoliers or on the transit steamers or discover the wonders of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers.
American Waterfront
Take a walk down a street in the good old New York or a peaceful stroll along the shores of "Cape Cod". See a great luxury ship and a stunning musical theater. Along the docks of the Hudson River, you can relax in the quite "Waterfront Park" or take a ride on some autos.
Mysterious Island
It has a active volcano in the middle of the Park. This is an homage to Jule Verne's world and works and has an indoor thrill ride and an awe-inspiring underwater. exploration.
Port Discovery
Experience different modes of transport begin developed by researchers here. The rides here are storm rider, aquatopia and the electric train.
Mermaid Lagoon
Swim through "Triton's Kingdom" and view "Ariel's Playground" from Disney's “The Little Mermaid” in this underwater fantasy world. Play with jellyfish, race the blow fish or spin around in the whirlpool. Meet Ariel in person or ride on the Park's first roller coaster!Lost River Delta
Here you find the old ruins of an ancient civilization. Location is in central America during the 1930's inside a lost temple (Indiana Jones). Walk around on a trip avoiding the wrath of the gods.
Arabian Coast
Explore distant and mysterious lands of Arabia with Aladdin and his friends. Whether you ride along with the Genie or see a surprising magic show, you'll be sure to get a smile. Watch out for the evil Jafar before you go on an adventurous journey with Sindbad.
Shows, Parades & Atmosphere
The Park offers everything from ongoing stage shows to exciting water parades daily. You can see fireworks (花火） or a musical tribute to Broadway. Attend a luxury liner's maiden voyage ceremony or watch Donald and friends have a ball on stage.

Special events always bring out the uniqueness of this Park with memorable and fun shows all year long. From the traditional holidays events to the seasonal programs that offer audience participation.
FASTPASS is a method to enjoy the rides without standing in the queue. You can get your ticket punched with a time instead of standing in the queue for the ride you want to take and then return back at the specified time instead of standing in the queue. More popular the rides more waiting with. The Best strategy is to take a FAST PASS for the popular ride and stand in queue for the less popular one's as one only one FAST PASS is allowed at a time. If visiting in a group then depending on the group member's interest different strategies can be used. Some of the rides offering FAST PASS are Storm Rider, Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Mermaid Lagoon Theater, Indiana Jones -->Temple of the Crystal Skull, The Magic Lamp Theater, Raging Spirits and Tower of Terror.
Children below 3 years and also visitors equal to or under 90cm are not allowed.
